blah

damn flu... nothing full on or serious, just enough to have me feeling tired and sore and flat... most of the time anyway, every now and then will have a half hour patch where am feeling back to normal, then will hit again...

and dont know if the song thats just come on the radio is helping or making it worse...

well what a shitty day...

as mentioned earlier, a small dose of the flu, just enough to have me feeling a little stiff sore and tired... a minor sniffle now and then... not enough to be really sick, just enough to be annoying, and distracting... so struggled through work, not that much got done...

Then had a friend i was meant to be catching up with tomorrow for coffee back out on me, because I have the flu and she cant afford to get it... (on top of another friend backing out on me yesterday for the same reason :-( damn frustrating)... so getting worse...

then decide to take off from work early, catch the train out to the station, get in the car... and it wont start, flat battery cause I left the lights on :-( oh FFS anything else??? then had to wait 40 min or so til my flatmate got home so he could drive down and jump start my car for me...

and then yes, there was something else, came home to find that my blue-tooth headset for my mobile phone isnt sitting here, so I must have dropped and lost it during the day today... so goodbye to that, write that off... just great... aggghhhh!!

so right now, even though its just after 5pm, feel like getting dinner done, crawling into bed, and just ending the day, writing it off as a loss and letting it end... before anything else screws up :-(

Xavier Rudd

It's amazing how some good, fun, enjoyable music can help lift and change the mood *S*

Finally today received the new Xavier Rudd cd White Moth... I had pre-ordered it last month, and it was released back on the 3rd of June, so should have had it then, but just turned up today... but well worth the wait...

The CD is awesome, but still doesn't do justice to his live performances... imagine one guy up there playing guitar, stomp-box, harmonica, yirdaki (digeridoo) and singing, songs with great heart and meaning and feeling... anyone who has seen him live will know what I mean, and if you havent, then you should if you ever get the chance...

If you havent ever heard him, go to his Myspace site and have a listen...

Yeah yeah ok I know am raving, and he wont be everyones cup of tea *S* but what the hey...
